Very nice Nick

Attempts, none that I've noticed. I feed him every 3 days or so. I've seen him dine on mushrooms though.

It's real short, but you can see his pretty caudal colors for about 2 seconds. -
Nice score!

Great looking tank wow. Nice job!
Duh Miles, I forgot to put your name up there to thank as well. Your orange Bam Bams are on my frag rack. Thanks!
Thanks Garrett, will do.
-
Thanks guys, and you see just now I went out and got some Elos Omega and Skimmer.
Kim, sorry he's hard to see: my red arrow
I'll see if I can get a better pic sometime.

I bought this tank for $50 last summer. It came with an oak stand, canopy, Aqua C in sump skimmer with pump, some PC lighting, And everything to pretty much get started.
I got some dry rock(From Kris) and live rock from Rose City for seeding purposes. Bought some cheap zoa frags and a couple clowns which are still with me. This was when it had 96W PC and actinics.
Last night, I have 2 20k Radiums over this tank.
This tank is filled with stuff gotten from a lot of PNWMAS members: Kris, Noob2Salt, TankIt, ReefnJunkie, El Salvador, WestSide Aquarium, Saltwater Fantaseas, Chuck, Mandinga, Ed's Reef, Redcloud, Garrett, TECO and Kim's group buys, Andy for the RODI, and Upscales.
My biocube, can you spot the mantis sticking his head out? Hard to see, his name is Brutus.
And yes, sorry, these are iPhone pics. Anyways, really wanted to thank all those members who I've purchased from. My wife and kids appreciate the lil tank.
-
Count me in please. Whatever it is. I love your group buys. Thank you for putting this together Kim.
-
It's up and running, ordered new filters, ran the tubing and bought a top off valve. IT works!!! Thanks for the great deal, look forward to seeing your next venture in reefs.
-
They do come in handy but not sure where we would put it LOL.
Helllllooo Kim...this is your breeding tank!!?? =0

Beautiful colony you got there Chuck. Let me know when it's ready, so yah this means I want a frag.

Thank you for the meeting. Mr. Pedersen was a class act, the passion this man exudes is contagious. Thank you for bringing him out.
Shane, thank you for securing the location and allowing the use of the facilities.
Michael and Roy, pleasure meeting you both.
Kim, I was really trying to stay incognito in the back Thanks for corals.
Mr. Durr, Mr. Fisher and Mr. Reed, thank you for your donations.

Purple Garf Bonsai?

Pending pickup

Chuck, I don't think it works. The compressor would not turn on. If you'd like to try your hand at trying to get it to work I'll take $30. It's useless to me really.
-
Thank you Harold for your help regardless.
-
I don't think it works gentlemen. Thanks for the help Harold. Anyone want it for parts or should I just go have it repaired?
-
Take the caps off? And plug it in? Ok I'll try that now, thanks.
-
Sorry, it's an Arctica Chilller. Not what I mispelled above.
-

Just peeled off the plastic layer to show how it looks underneath

http://www.urbanspoon.com is good and they have dedicated apps for mobile devices.
http://www.portlandfoodanddrink.com/ is a more local discussion
Portlandfood.org has a forum that's got some passionate folks just like here. The forum is run by Nick Zukin of Kenny and Zuke's deli.

Be prepared to wait. I usually dropy name on their wait list and come back 45 minutes later, but I go during their rush hours sat/sun.

POK POK 3226 SE Division St · Portland
LE BISTRO MONTAGE 301 SE Morrison St
Both very Eclectic and great prices/portions. The food at both places is great. If you go to montage make sure you have some left overs so they make you an art sculpture out of aluminium foil. If you go to POK POK go with the specials and waiter recomendations. Especially if its your first time.
Can't go wrong with Pok Pok, Montage is unique.

You've been to Fenouil, great romantic spot with good food. Have you tried Genoa? Portland staple, fixed 5-7 course dinner. Romantic setting, a bit darker than Fenouil. Paley's place is great as well. Toro Bravo is a tapas joint that is wonderful but is best when you take more than 2 people.
Apizza Sholls(bottom is the Truffle oil and 3-Cheese pizza) It is incredible. Anthony Bourdain went here a few years back and thought the same
Bamboo Sushi's Kobe Burger(I dont come here for the sushi although it is very good, the burger is the best)
Ringside's Kobe Filet(not as good as their Ribeye)
Screen Door's Biscuit's and Gravy(Screen Door is consistently hearty and good)
Screen Door's Praline Bacon(It is magical)
If you're into food carts...nothing beats our culture in Portland
Pastrami and Chipotle with Tillamook Cheddar on a homemade tortilla @ Pepper Box
Garden State's Meatball Sandwich
Fried Alligator maybe??
120 Mixed/SPS tank (lots of pic).
