Anyone interested in a Mag 7? It's a long shot but I would trade it for a Mag 9.5. I need one to overdrive a AquaC EV-180.
-
Sounds good. I will definitely keep you in mind and let you know what happens.

Thanks reefnjunkie,
I might take you up on that offer. This tank is going to be my first saltwater setup. I have a Blue Velocity t4 pump also that I could use on this tank. Not sure which way I want to go.
-
I guess i can always T off the return and direct some of the water back into the sump.

I might end up keeping the Mag 18. Do you guys think it will be too strong for a 144 gallon Oceanic half circle with dual "megaflow" overflow boxes?

I'm trying to clear out my garage and I have these pumps for sale. I'm not using them right now so I was wondering if anyone on here might need them. Here they are...thanks for looking.

Like new, Little Giant 4-MDQX-SC 1325gph Magnetic Drive Inline Aquarium Pump in great condition. It was used on my freshwater aquarium for less then a year. I upgraded to a larger aquarium and had to buy a larger pump so I am selling this one now for $80. Call 503-999-0054. Thanks.

Paypal sent for the hammerhead. Thanks.

Selling this large sump to put money towards a large Wet/Dry for a freshwater 300 gallon. The dimensions of this sump are 36lx16tx14w. Comes with all the bulkheads. I would like to sell it for $160.
I would also trade straight across for a large Wet/Dry sump with dual inlets. Thanks.

no pictures?

i think its actually a 155 gallon. I never heard of a 150 bow front. its usually 155 bow front. 5 more gallons to be exact.

I emailed them around 11am this morning and they said they had a person already coming at 1:30pm. Thats pretty thoughtful for giving them the extra 50. Hard times for a lot of people right now.

So you were the guy that beat me to it. Woodburn right? you got a hell of a deal. cant wait to see the pictures. was it really a 150 gallon bow front?

Brand new and still in the original box. Catalina Aquarium Super Vortex 1004 Protein Skimmer for tanks up to 400 gallons.
I'm a freshwater guy that decided to setup a saltwater tank but then ended up selling the aquarium. Things didn't work out as I had planned. DOH! I know I won't get back what I paid for it so I am asking $125. I'll deliver it if necessary.
Heres a picture of it next to a 5 gallon water bottle for size. Pump was not included when I bought it new. Jim at Catalina Aquarium suggested their 1800 650gph venturi pump. He'll send you a free needle wheel upgrade if you order the pump from him online. $40 shipped to your door. (rock2)

cool. it seems like most people don't do canisters on saltwater tanks. I think I'll skip the canisters and convert my wet dry to a sock filter. if im right, the wet dry systems seem to be useless if I plan on having lots of rock?

I am new to the saltwater world and will be setting up a 75 gallon tank. It already has a 30 gallon wet/dry with a 550 gph pump with one return on the top left corner of the tank. I am also planning on adding a large protein skimmer. Should I also use the 2 canister filters I have from a previous freshwater setup? From what I understand, canisters filters are nitrate factories. Should I skip the 2 Fluval 305's? They are filled with biomax ceramic rings. Do you guys/gals use canisters on your saltwater setups?
