Been out of the forum for a while.... needing some input.

My LED fixture just died, have a 4ft tank and need affordable lighting.

Any input on LED fixtures and who to contact if its one of the local suppliers.

I wanna send a huge shout out to Matt and Jeanette for coming over tonight and helping me drain, pull out the tank and put in a durso overflow in my tank..... It is now so quiet I don't even know it is there!!

Yes there were a few stressful times but everything worked out and everything looks happy in the tank... even got to redo the rock work and at this moment I love it more than before!!

You two rock!!!  You are my sanity savers!! Love ya both!!!

How old are the test kits? Have you tried having someone else test the same water sample with their kit to see if the numbers are the same or close to the same?

Isaac met me at Matts house and I traded a rock and some cash for a very nice large rock with many mushrooms and ricordia on it that I will be sharing with Emerald525. And the nice live rock and coralline is also much appreciated!  Thank you for meeting me at Matts, sure did save me a lot of gas!

Thank you matt for the many zoa frags.... holding on to my fragging kit for almost 2 years and sending me home with it..... My addiction to zoa fragging can resume soon!!  I really appreciate that you held on to that for so long and all the extras that you sent me with so that I could dip and affix my new frags to rocks!!  Matt also sent me home with a nice piece of blue stag...  I think I came home with an instant coral reef today!!

Awesome, thank you for the confidence boost.  These are not cheap, so it helps to know how much people love them.

 

Where do you like to buy your pellets?

You can get them at costco from time to time, I ususally buy a couple bags when I can get them there, otherwise Ace hardware carries them and I have got them at Gartners meat market too.    But honestly Costco is cheapest!

I have a Traeger and love it.  I have smoked everything from fish to elk to brisket and everything in between.  I use it 3-4 times a week.  Works great for smoking and just straigt up cooking, set it at 350 and go!  I also have done veggies and potatoes on it.  Mine also came with a recipe book that I have used a lot.  

My favorite pellets are hickory or mesquite.
