I have been using a cheap ATI dosing pump on my nano. I had it set to dose 10ml once a day of Tropic Marin. It decided to start dosing 250ml twice a day on its own. Unfortunately it killed some very nice corals before I figured out what was going on. Very frustrating. I recommend avoiding this brand completely.

This dude is black listed from buying corals at the best shops in Oregon!

RollerMats are where it’s at!
I dig that. For me, no filter necessary

Clarification

For years now I haven’t run a filter of any type other than a little carbon every couple months at most. Anyone else do this? I get phenomenal results without the hassle and expensive of changing filters. Currently changing around 15% water weekly.

That thing is epic. 👏🏽
I haven’t gotten into blastos too much. Just a few here and there for trades. The few I’ve gotten have been mixed results…likely due to more sps par intensities. Do you keep these under higher or lower par?
They are sensitive to light and flow. I keep them at the bottom tucked slightly into the rock since I keep a fairly high flow and moderate lighting

Looks like Sympodium. Could also be some type of anthelia

Gumby/Jim’s stuff is awesome. I got a larger space invader pectina from him and it’s a fast grower. Not as spiny as the mother colony as the growth of those will likely form more out of flow patterns and lighting of each tank.
I’m looking for a different strain of pectinia. Looks quite different actually. I’m going to pick one up from Golden Basket.

That’s one in the background looks pretty sweet too
-
Wow! That one is extra spiny. Looks a bit different than the one I like for my tank. Really cool though

Nice frags bro! I’m really looking for a 4-5” colony on this one. Just out of curiosity, how much are the frags going for?
-
That could work. I’m definitely looking for a good size colony of this one since it’s not that rare
-
If anyone has a colony of space invader pectinia they would like to sell please let me know. Any other cool chalice colonies I may be interested in as well. Thanks everyone!

Doesn't it get orange in higher light though?
Yes. And will sometimes morph into pink, purple and blue as well.

This is a photo I took of my coral sometime between 2006-2009. I took this photo for Steve Tyree by request. He was very excited about the coral when I described it to him.

Got it. The Oregon Mummy Eye is more orange, and right?
The Oregon Mummy Eye is naturally a very metallic green with orange to pink eyes. Like candy paint on a classic car

Don't use ATI dosing pumps

And Yes, I did try to reset it and it instantly jumped up dosage on its own. Bad tech.
