  1. I got mine sent in, as well as sending it to all the addys in my yahoo email. (clap) My lil bro is gonna try and get all the reef shops in our hometown (TX) to send an email. (rock2) Let's try and get as many people as we can to make sure that HR 669 is the one that ends up being put to sleep and not our little buddies. (wife)

  2. Thanks Michael and Garrett, now I have a reason to pull the "I told you so card". :D. Taekwondude and I are looking at an alternative spot for the tank. (plotting) Hey Bill, yeah Joel called it "Southdown" sand, I think it was around $0.75 a pound (scratch) don't quote me on it though.

  3. Ok, I know i'm starting to stray on the origin of this thread, but nano and I were looking at CL today for around a 75 to 90 gal. for pretty cheap...granted they don't cost very much and have amenities like skimmer/lighting above PC/stand & cabinet...but i was just thinking...is it worth risk of bad previous owner habits such as copper medicines or other things...should we just get a new one that has the exact features we want and pay the extra??...

advise... (scratch)...and thanks to all for advise...

So I figured I'd post this here where it would be seen, and not buried in another thread. So what are ya'll opinions? Any advice is appreciated. :D

  4. Cause I am old and fat, it just wouldnt be a challange.

But it would be fun. If someone were to set it up and I had the day off I would try to make it if I could rent the stuff. I can become the SSFN

    {Super Stealthy Fat Ninja}

Don't worry. I'm broken, so it evens the odds. My knee is messed up. I've got the gimppy run (help), so I'm pprobably more of a target then a SSFN. :D Can't be too stealthy when you can't crouch down. DOH!

  5. I agree. We normally use about 1 case each when we go out. My fave gun is my Spyder, I've got a sniper barrel on it. I love to gogg people!!! Best of all is after a game when I walking off the field with someone that I gogg'd and I take off my mask and they realized they got taken out by a chick .

  6. Awwwww your way out there.....(sad) I'm with you on the speedball and indoor. Although speedball is great when me and the hubby are on opposite teams (plotting). We are looking at getting back into the sport, haven't played since we moved up here. Right now i got an Ion w/ halo hopper, but I wanna upgrade. Not sure to what as of yet.

  7. I think they've all given you great advice, so here in my two cents.

Warm bath is great. Sometimes walking "laps" in the hallway helps. If your gonna do that let her hold your arm and when a contraction comes support her by hugging her (so she can lean on you). Remember to "breathe". Like they said before DON'T take it personal if she tells you off. Don't say your tired (wife) you'll get yelled at. When she starts to push help her sit up, unless you want to be down "there" with the doc. If you are in the least bit squimish I recommend staying up by her shoulders (to help her sit up to "bear down"). Also let her know how much you love her and that you think she is beautiful. She might disagree at that moment, but it will definatly earn you brownie points later.

The umbilical cord is stronger then it looks. (scratch) Ask a nurse to take your pic as your cutting it. Newborns look "ugly". They look all shriveled, pale, and like they went ten rounds in a boxing ring. It's normal. They get "pretty" with time.

Like they said "master" the swaddle.

    Take tons of pictures.

If you wanna bond faster with the baby do the diaper changes. Don't worry thier poop is supossed to look like tar in the begining. If you plan on using a pacifier when you offer one craddle your baby in your arms.

Oh and when you get home from the hospital turn the tv/radio on. Your baby will be used to hearing all the noise and commotion from the hospital and your house will seem "too" quiet. Basically you want to create "white noise".

Take shifts with Momma that way you both can get some rest, but don't plan on feeling refreshed after you sleep. It's hard, so be there for each other.

Hug your wife and your baby often, and tell them you love them as often as you can. Congrats!!!! Here's to you and the family.(drinking)

  8. hey undrtkr_00 zombies are Super Nassarius snails, sorry about the confusion. dsoz thanks for the offer (clap) (I love any excuse for a road trip). I'm working on getting pics so I can post up my own tank thread. I'm just trying to figure out how to take clear pictures. Most of them come out way to blurry (comp), and my skunk cleaner doesn't like to stand still (sad). But on the plus side I did get one of him that looks like he has a force field on one side .

  9. Hi all! (waving) My name is melissa and this is my first "official" sw tank. I helped the hubby with his 8 gal, and I've done ALOT of fw tanks in the past. I'm taking it reallllly slow. I've got a 15.5 gal tank with 3 hermit crabs, 3 zombie snail, 1 bumble bee snail, and a cleaner shrimp. I've got some GSP, Zoes, some tiny mushrooms and a semi-forest of "wild" (scratch) feather dusters. Much to my hubbies  horror I want a 125 gal. But that will come in time. (plotting)
