Dave at Davy Jones also build the best sumps (I have one and it is impressive). He also builds some tanks. His stand are build to last.

I have a 250 pendant and ballast. The bulb (don't have this) is the double ended kind not the screw in type. I also have ballast and endcaps for VHO's with bulbs. Let me know if you are interested.

He is about 3.5-4 inches. We took him out of our reef tank because he has started eating the snails and nipping at the crabs. SOLD

I have a pink birdsnest frag that has been in my tank for about a month. I noticed that it is starting to get brown on the ends also my gorgorian is getting brown tips on the ends. Is there anything I can do to stop the progression? My birdsnest is located upper 3rd under 250 MH. My gorgorian is on the bottom of the tank in good flow. I will post pictures when the MH come on.

I don't know if this makes a difference in your recomendations but We are trying to up grade our skimmer in the 180, from a G2 to .... Do you think the G2 would be okay for the 90gal?

Thanks for the info on the aqua-c. I haven't heard many good things about them. I like to have my tank run quiet.

It is a great tank. It is going to be the aggressive fowlr tank. So that he can get some fish that are not all about peace and love.

yes it is 3 x 2 x2. We can't wait to get it set up

We are in the market for a new protein skimmer. We have 180gal tank and about another 45 to 50 in the sump. We are currently using a G2. I am transfering that over to a new 90 gal build. Any suggestions about what brand to get without spending a lot of money.
