  1. I have received an offer on my tank, stand, and equipment, so I'd like to sell the rocks, corals, fish, and mushrooms.

    Here's the breakdown:

    30lbs rocks @ 3$/lb = $90

(be prepared, there may be a xenia, or coral attached to some rocks so selling may get interesting)

yellow watchman goby and pistol shrimp = $40 (will only sell as a pair - they're buddies :))

food = free with the purchase of the yellow watchman goby and pistol shrimp

emerald crab, hermit crab, snails = $12

    horn coral = $10

mushrooms (blue, red, and purple) = $20

    zoas (4 bunches asst colors) = $35

    green polyp toadstool = $30

    rose anemone = $35

    button polyps = $10

    candy cane coral = $10

    hammer coral = $10

blue flower coral (can't remember the name) = $10

    cleaner shrimp = $10

A couple of other SPS corals that aren't doing so well :\ = free

false perc clown fish = free (he's kind of a dud)

    pom pom xenia = free

Will also part out with some live sand if anyone's interested!

Feel free to email with any questions!! Or for more pics! Thanks!

  2. I'll be moving in October...Sadly, I can't take my tank. I thought I'd start early to find a home for it. I'd like to see if I can sell everything at once before splitting things up, although I realize this may be difficult. Also, I'm not sure how the breakdown and transport part is supposed to happen. I have a 5 gallon bucket to offer, but that won't hold much. I have only had the tank since March of this year. It is in great condition and I've had no problems with it. I'm asking $850 for everything (I paid $670 just for the tank and the stand). I'm willing to negotiate on the price to $800 if someone's willing to do more of the breakdown. I'm located in the Fisher's Landing/Vancouver area (east vancouver near hwy 14 and I-205).

It's a 28 gallon jbj nano cube with metal halide lighting. Both pumps have been replaced with maxi jet 900s, other than that it is the stock setup. Also included in the price is an azoo cooling fan, a light/timer surge protector, a heater, and the stand. I have other supplies I'll throw in too: food, testing kits, ph buffers, carbon, hydrometer, etc.

    This is what's inside:

about 20lbs of sand and 30lbs of great live rock

1 clownfish, 1 pistol shrimp w/ yellow watchman goby, 1 rose anemone, 1 cleaner shrimp, 1 emerald crab, 1 blue legged hermit crab, and snails. (since there isn't much livestock it's a great base set-up to start from).

(all corals are pretty small about 2-3") misc mushrooms (blue and purple), candy cane coral, hammer head coral, kenya tree, white pom pom xenia, green, orange, pink, and yellow zoas, toad stool polyp, button polyps, horn coral

Please feel free to email with any questions or to get more pictures.

    Thanks! :)

  3. Ya, good for zoas and 'shrooms. But they don't grow very fast under the stock lights. It takes the Sunpod to make them really do well. Then also the Sunpod allows you to keep almost any coral you choose in there.

I agree, it will be a hard sell here without the higher light of the sunpod. Maybe craig's list.

    Good luck

I have an ad on craigs list too :) ...I would have bought it myself without the sunpod, i just happened to have the extra money then, so hopefully someone else will want just the stock set up too. I think it'd be good for a kids room or something...plus with the enclosed lid, things won't fall into it :D and as always...it can be upgraded!

  4. I have a 12 gallon Aquapod for sale with the matching stand, a sunpod metal halide light fixture, heater, and ~10lbs of live cured rock with it. I also have the original light fixture for it. I've only had it for about a month or so...I have another tank and thought I'd have the time/energy to take care of two, but alas...it's too much. :( I didn't buy it new, but it's in great condition. I'm asking for $260....Email with any questions, Thanks :)

  5. Hi! I'm looking for a 12-14 gallon Oceanic Biocube, Aquapod, or Nanocube...I'd like to spend around $100 but it's negotiable of course depending on condition, accessories, stand, etc. I want to set it up to be used as a quarantine tank. I'd like to find one in the Portland/Vancouver area.

    Thanks! :)

posted in the wtb/wtt also...seems like a larger number of people check the classified so I thought I'd try here too...
