Alright, one last try before I ship them off (to an on-line retailer where they will be sold for north of $100 each DOH! )
-
I thought it was normal to own 25' date='000 rounds of ammo(plotting)-you never know when you may run out(scary)[/quote']
At lease you're prepared for the zombie apocalypse.
-
There's less radiation in a normal cup of coffee - and I drink plenty of that. I wouldn't worry about it.
-
bump - wow, I thought these would be gone in minutes.
-
Wow - great pictures. I don't have a cold water tank, but it looks like it would be a blast to go collecting. I bet kids would love that - I know my daughter would.
Be sure to post lots of pics of the trip.

Bump for the day crowd. Red Yuma's at 3 for $50 - that's only $16 each (cheer)

I have a few things that I need to get out of the tank.
1) I have three frags of 3 Yumas. They are the red yumas that others in the group have, which I think mostly came from Nanoreefer. The first pic is Nanoreefer's - I've never been good at picture taking, and his actually looks better more accurate than mine (my "mother" yuma is the smaller of the two in his picture).
There are three "frags" - each with 3 red Yuma's. Two are full size yumas with two small babies - and one is a medium yuma, two babies, and a green polyp toadstool. Frags are $50 each - I think that's a good price for Yumas that go for $70-$80 each on-line. I had just moved the plugs, so they are still pretty closed in this picture. FYI, the full adult I have opens ~3 1/2 inches - it's huge. These aren't that big, more like 2 inches.
NanoReefer's picture:
My picture of 2 of the 3 "frags":
2) a full colony of Tyree AE (auction edition) War Coral. There are a lot of this color Favia out there, so not sure it really matters, but this is the Tyree version. This is a full colony - the rock is completely covered and starting to grow onto the sand. The rock is probably about 3" x 4" and a couple inches tall. Frags still go for $60 retail, I'll sell the colony for $75.
The coral is much more red ( I should say, a deeper red) in person - again, my picture taking leaves much to be desired.
War Coral:
Thanks for looking, let me know if you have any questions. Tomorrow (work) is probably going to be very busy, so I apologize if I don't reply to messages right away.

PM sent...

Is it an actual species (or whatever the right word is) then? Like a gem tang, but even more rare? I have never seen or heard of white tangs before - I assumed it was albino or some other genetic anomaly.
-
Wow - I hate zoas, but those are crazy.
-
Yeah, it's pretty mild out - depending on where it's going, I wouldn't put two.
-
So, who's going to start breeding Gem Tangs?
-
I wanted to thank Joel for posting this. He didn't have to and there are a lot of people out of work right now. Thanks For thinking of us Joel.
Excellent point - thanks for thinking of the group, Joel.
-
I voted Oolong (funny, btw). I figure if it's darker than my tank water, than my tank water is cleaner without it.
-
Wow - that's a sad, but really amazing picture. I always thought the skin of mandarins was poisonous. I could totally be wrong about that. If so, any risk to the coral?
My Yuma's will eat a mysis, but I can't imagine a mushroom eating an entire fish.
-
Wow, very nice frag tank - I'm jealous. Plus points for the Corgi.
-
$0.01? Wait a minute, the title said free. Wow, the old bait and switch!
-
Ha! I wonder what archeologists will make of that in 10,000 years? Cool.
-
I thought Roger had stepped out of the TfT role, and wasn't sure had taken over. I'd be happy to donate to the TfT - will even deliver and take a couple corals. I'll ping Roger and see if he's interested. I feel bad tossing it, but I'm not surprised there's no interest - it's definitely the Yugo of skimmers (didn't realize that when I was just starting out).
-
Bump for the evening crowd. I just want to be sure before I toss it.
-
I'm not a Zoa guy, but props for posting pics under different lighting conditions. Very nice looking coral - in both light spectrums.
-
That looks much more believable - and still a really nice coral. I just won't order from places that use that photo technique (I won't go so far as to say altering the photo). Thanks for posting, Rick

Knock on wood, me either. But I dip new corals. I have an almost full thing of CoralRX and use interceptor, but will think about trying this in the future. Does CoralRX (or Revive, which I have used as well) even kill AEFW? I wasn't sure if anything killed AEFW.
-
Wow - that's amazing. Thanks for posting. I wouldn't have been brave enough (or smart enough) to try that in a million years.
