Appartently, the Price was Right! If you haven't already indicated interest - consider these sold out. If you indicated interest and I haven't gotten back to you, please be patient. I hope to get back to you soon.

  2. I have an Aquacontroller and I have been relatively pleased with it so far.

Well, I did a big water change Sunday and now I have noticed the thermometer for the Aquacontroller seems to be freaking out. The temperature seems to be jumping around 3 to 5 degrees and it says the tanks now at 83 degrees!! - which I knew didn't make sense. So I got the old back up, glass thermometer out to verify (yup, we are sitting comfortable in the mid 70s.

So I adjusted the Aquacontroller so that the gauge would read correct and ran off to work. I am hoping to go home tonight and find that I didn't turn the heater on all day or had the fans on all day if it wasn't needed.

Anyone have any ideas I what happened here? Did the thermometer just go bad? Was is a coincidence with the water changes (which I just can't believe). And Now what do I do? Does anyone have a Aquacontroller thermometer laying around that I can buy?

    Please share your suggestions/thoughts/experiences.

    Happy Holidays!

  3. I have a 280 gal. tank right now. My advice, big is nice, but the taller it is, the more painful it becomes. If you are going to go big, don't make the tank too tall. 36" in height (not width as noted above) is often challenging. I speak with experience. And Glass is the only way to go (imo).

  4. I am sorry for the delay, I don't have internet at home so if its after work hours, you will have to wait until the next day. (sheesh, the digital generation has no patience, what would they do without twitter?)

  5. what is the smallest size you have??? How quicky do they split.... I don't want to over welm my 55 gal tank if they are going to go nuts before my eyes!! LOL

The smallest one I have is probably 5 inches in diameter. I had a GIANT, over 1' in diameter) RBTA for several years before it decided to split, so you never can tell when.

  6. Hey' date=' I still have a rock with some mushrooms on it for you too. It's been a crazy couple of months. My girlfriend just got out of surgery about 4 hours ago to hopefully cap it all off. I'll see what day coming up will work for me and get you both....[/quote']

    Ok, just let me know.
