  1. Hi Beckie,

I am going to sell the apistos and a few of the plants tomorrow. I would be willing to sell everything else (tank, substrate, plants, fish, heater, thermometer and power filter) for $75. The hood is homemade and is made of pine and has four compact fluorescents and two fluorescent tubes inside. If your friend is interested, in can send pictures.

    Thanks,

    Dan

  2. I am breaking down a 29 gallon and have the following that I need to sell:

    one pair of Apistogramma macmasteri

    about 10 black neon tetras

    one siamese algae eater

    one bamboo shrimp

A ton of plants including java fern, java moss, riccia, Cryptocoryne spiralis and various Anubia species. I would also be willing to sell it all, tank, lights, etc. if someone wanted the whole setup. This stuff is going to be priced to sell.

    Thanks.

  3. I am in SW Portland and I need to take down my 15 gallon tank due to an upcoming move. There isn't a whole lot left in it at this point, but I would like to sell off the remaining corals and live rock.

one large colony of green start polyps - $30. These are super bright and fast growing.

two smaller colonies of green star polyps - $10 each.

one small kenya tree coral - $5

one colony of unidentified polyps - $5. like GSP, but brown in color.

one green hydnopora - $5. This is recovering, but the growing points are green and healthy.

one rock with hairy mushrooms - $8. These grow rather large and are green and brown.

    xenia rock - $5.

All the live rock (~15 lbs. maybe?) - $40. This has some nice coralline. Two or three larger pieces and lots of soft ball sized pieces.

Also willing to give away the remaining snails and hermit crabs to whoever buys some of these items.

  4. I might actually be in Salem on either the 15th or 16th of August, so maybe we can work something out then. If I still have the coral at that time, I will shoot you a pm once I know what day I will be there.

    thanks.

  5. Thanks for the great corals. They are doing well in my tank so far. The hydnopora really pops under the VHOs. I'm thinking I might need to come back for one of those monti cap frags.

Jason has some nice stuff at good prices if anyone else in Corvallis could use some frags.

  6. Anyone have some inexpensive frags to sell in Corvallis? I am especially looking for xenia, yellow polyps, interesting mushrooms or other soft corals. I also am looking for some montipora or pocillopora frags.

I have some neon green star polyps (the species with no white in the center, really bright) that I could trade if anyone was interested as well.

    Thanks.

  7. Hey Kevin,

I have been in the hobby for a few years now and am just getting my tank back into good shape. I used to have lots of cool macroalgae, but then I cleaned it all out and it has been slow to grow back.

I might be going to Portland soon, so I could look for some macroalgae in the reef shops up there. I'll keep you posted if I get some.

    Dan
