Found a large nest of them at Detroit lake. Big suckers too!!!!

Brown diatom on glass makes a great food....just clean your glass.....lol

 

I would try putting the clam @least(excuse my leet language it may confuse some ...) half way up the rockwork...hth

Gotta run the AC....once the rooms gets in the 80's...the warm air cannot cool off the water....basically the water is only gonna get as kool as the ambient temp in the room.

I set my AC to 69-70.....

My tank only get to about 80 with a clip on fan blowing in the canopy(open back) with dual 400watt radiums and 2 110 watt vho's(1000watts of heat)

And about the clam...

I would put it up high gradually.... I had a 2" clam about 12" below the 400watter and never had to feed it....

Just cleaning your glass weekly...that should give it some supplemental food

I'm in albany...I have some blue stripe...look bluish teal under strong lighting...

I really don't think its a cuttlefish....mine little cuttle I've been raising from egg, just escaped the net breeder its been living in for the last 6 weeks....well it didn't last with fish around...someone ate him!

I hope the fish enjoyed the calamari!!!...what sucks is the $100 of live food spent feeding it the last month+!!!

They don't swim as nimble as eric has been describing...

The frag tank is packed with beautiful colorful corals in his store...if u haven't been in for awhile...u need to stop in and check out the selection...

I am a steelhead fisher, tho not as often as I used to. I'm an R.C.er as well. Haven't flown in awhile tho. It's tough to find the time for all my hobbies.

My son and I went and saw it...we thought it was pretty good, and well worth the matinee price...

I had one years ago for a short time...made the mistake like most....who can resist a bright orange tube anemone!

I asked the lfs if the there was a reason I was forgeting why I never got one....I had researched them years before then...just forgot there bad rap! was told nope!!!

Anyways took it home and it did fine for a few weeks..no problems.....until the fish started to chase each other around one day....and eventually one just touched a tentacle...yes just one......anyways that's all it took ....the fish was like having seizures or something....I tried to remove the piece of tentacle that had boke off and stuck to the fish....it didn't help, it was too late....also lost a couple of pipe fish to it, before it was removed.......hth

Maybe u could vacuum seal it in a vac bag......
