moovinfast Posted December 23, 2010 Share Posted December 23, 2010 Has anyone else modded a Hydor K4? Ive had the parts to do my own mod but just now got around to doing them. All I can say is wow. Its at least doubled the flow. They are a little louder now and harder to start, but still worth it. I wanted to add more flow to my 240g cube so I added my 2 extra k4s I had laying around. Then I remember I had the parts to mod them. So I went from 3600gph closed loop, to 3600 + 1200gph x2 (6000gph), and now I have 3600 + probably 2500gph x2 (8600gph).
