CA2OR
I am thinking the 250 would probably work out great....although the 400 might do better. It might also burn your corals though if you aren't carefull.
Rick
If they want to go 400w I can set him up with one for $40 including a bulb. They would probably want to build a pendant style box or build a hood around the reflector to put it over the tank. Its a spider reflector with mogul base and bulb along with a cap and core ballast and the wiring to hook it to a timer (and/or a switch could be added as well). How tall is the tank? The only one I could find dimensions on shows it being 24" deep. If so then I would skip the 150w and 175w and go with at a minimum 250w. (I had 175w over my 24" deep tank and it wasn't enough IMO)
