Hog Head
I found the Aquactinics 72" Constellation HO T5 Aquarium Light while looking for lights. Does anyone have this fixture or know someone who does? Does 14x39w HOT5's over my 100g 72x18x18 sounds like it would be a good amount of light or would the Maristar fixture be better? HOT5 vs MH/HOT5. The only thing that is slowing me down on the aquatinics fixture is the $308 for the bulbs. I would use all Giesemann, 4 Actinic+ and 10 Aquablue+. Nyles
Over my 72" long tank 24" deep I ran 60" 80w t-5 (8 of them) I could have clams on the sandbed and SPS thrived from top to bottom Geismen mix 2 actinics 3 blue+, 3 11k? If I remember correctly.

Nyles
Usually ship free shipping over $200 http://www.reefgeek.com/lighting/T5_Fluorescent/Bulbs/80_Watt/ I use the workhorse ballast (I THINK it was the #7) It will push 2 bulbs per ballast. Nyles
Also in your setup I would NOT run the 8 bulbs that I did I would run 6, personally I would do 2,2,2 and use the actinic, this will easily penetrate to 18" deep and give light the whole width.
