  1. I have sold the tank. I will have LR and some equipment to sell in th next month. I will post an add when I know what I no longer need. Thanks for your offers of help and interest. Connie
  2. If you are interested, please go to memeber tank section and you can see several more pictures of my tank. Connie
  3. 300 gallon acrylic fish tank, stand and canopy. The tank was made by Envision acrylic and is about 6 years old. The stand and canopy were made by the pervious owners. The stand and canopy are made of birch and I have painted them an off white to match the color of my wall. The tank has some scratches that can both be easily removed. The stand and canopy are extremely solid and well made. I have loved this tank. It has been excellent and it is killing me to tear it apart and sell it! However, I am moving to a much smaller home in the valley and it is time for me to get my house on the market so the tank my go. The tank is approximately 80 in long by 33 in wide by 30 in tall. The overall height with the canopy is approximately 75 in tall. Price $1,200 I will have other pieces of equipment for sale once the tank is sold, but if you are interested in more of a packge deal, please let me know.
  4. Hi: I would happy to have people come by. My biggest issue will be the date. The summer is so busy! We might even want to do a little on the spot fragging too. Let me know the date. Thanks, Connie
  5. I have been having some of the same type of problems with my BB system. I have had two corals completely fade-out and I have had a little STN and decrease PE on two others. My macro algae is not growing well in my refugium. But I have been unsure of the cause. I have been traveling a lot which is never good news for my tanks because things do not get fed they way they should. I also had my co2 regulator break and I ended up with some big flucutations in my CA and Alk level until I replaced it. (It took me a while to realize that I could not get it to work) I can be a slow learner sometimes :>) In the meatime, other things are doing great! Old standby SPS are going and showing great color and growth. The anemones. clams, leathers and LPS are all growing. I started the new 300 gallon set-up in November. I did cook about 90% of my old rocks for about 6 weeks plus I added about 300 lbs of new LR that I cured. I do weekly water changes of 10% and I change filter socks twice a week. I was thinking of adding sand back into the refugium anyway and I am going to buy some uncured LR, cure it, and add it to the refugium. I prefer the look of sand in the tank but I hate the idea of adding sand to the display due to the increased risk of scatches. I will step up my feeding the next few weeks and see what happens. I wish I had answers, I just thought I would add my problems to your excellent thread and keep reading. Thanks, Connie
