I'm particularly interested in being able to subscribe to the classifieds and some of the sponsors forums for updates on new arrivals. Guest LisaJill Posted November 6, 2008 Share Posted November 6, 2008 An RSS feed is an XML formatted delivery of data; most importantly it lets you "subscribe" to the site (or forum) using a Feed Reader (such as Google Reader) so that updates are fetched by the reader, and one needn't visit the site to get that information. Most forum packages have some way of having per-forum RSS feeds; so that would allow people to subscribe to the classifieds forums, or sponsor forums to get updates more quickly. If you read a lot of blogs, an RSS feed is what is being used to "Syndicate" the blog. Here are instructions to do this with vB. It's old so theremay be other, better ways.
