35 gallon Hexagon Reef

Recommended Posts

So Im just getting back into things here in the SW world. I decided to start with a 35 gallon Hex reef. I have no coral yet, just fish and a small cleanup crew.

Currently working on overflow/sump build and just ordered some full spectrum led lights

UPDATE: DIY sump and overflow onstalled. Sump is 5 gallon with 3 chambers. All plumbing is 3/4" pvc pushing about 500-600gph.

Overflow design is based off of DIY Joey from YouTube. I just modified it a bit
