theJenchild
It doesn't work on the original iPhone, just the 3g and the 3gs
impur
Awesome, i've had my iphone for 2.5 weeks and last night i dropped it from about 18" onto my bathroom floor. Shattered the screen. I have a case and screen protector too. Sucks.

tidalsculpin
Bummer on you Iphone Miles. I just gt my 3Gs last week. I got a cover for it that is pretty shock proof if you get it replaced. The brand is called Speck. It is soft rubber on the inside and hard black on the outside. Looks slick with the black.

theJenchild
Where are you finding iPhones for 60-70 bucks? I want one!
Rwood
I think that is for it to be repaired
impur
Thats just for the glass and digitizer. I have to replace it myself and it voids the warranty. But the warranty doesn't really cover anything it should cover the dang thin arse glass that isn't even tempered!
impur
If anyone has this problem you can get replacement OEM glass, digitizer, adhesive, and the tools for $22 at amazon.com
impur
Well the repair is actually very simple. I got it all apart with ease, got the broken glass and digitizer off. While i was cleaning the excess glue off the plastic midboard, the perfectionist in me took over and wanted this last tiny piece of adhesive glue off. I heated it up with my heat gun and ended up bubbling the plastic midboard!!! Ugh. So i ordered a new midboard and now i must swap out the home button, ear speaker, and top sensors. Luckily they pop right out so i'm still in the clear. But man when i first saw that bubble in the plastic my heart sunk, i thought it was toast. So my $22 repair just turned into a $43 repair, but still better than $199.
impur
All fixed!!! I had to order a new home button since it looks like i fried the ribbon on the original. Took FOREVER to get the part from hong kong but i got it yesterday and put everything back together, works good as new!!!! Now to jailbreak it (naughty)
