  1. Hey all, unfortunately Jeff never responded to a PM, so still looking for this if anyone else can help. Thank you very much!
  2. Hey all, Hoping someone can help me out; I'm looking to buy a frag of green plating montipora as close as I can get to the screenshot below. Trying to match it up to a red monti cap I already have. Not sure exactly the variety in the picture, though I don't think it's a super vivid/neon or "green apple" green, fairly certain it's just a standard green monti cap. Not looking for one with noticeable or differently colored polyps. Really hoping I can get a 1"-2" (or maybe slightly larger) half circle frag of a section that's already plating as I have a vertical rock face in my tank I want to glue one edge to. Not a problem if its lost some color from shading. Willing to pay whatever people think is reasonable based on size, probably somewhere between $20-40. Based in North Portland, willing to drive a reasonable distance. Thank you!
  3. Hey Vis, very generous and really appreciate it, but Island hooked me up along with a beautiful hammer and duncan. Thanks to both of you!!
  4. Hi All, New to reefing, recently started adding coral. I really like the look of pulsing xenia, but I've called/visited nearly every LFS and none of them seem to have any (seems they don't want to keep it in their tanks if they can avoid it). So I'm here asking if anyone has any they'd be willing to sell. Specifically the white/pink varieties below with many frills that have a good pulsing motion. Would pay $25 for a frag and really appreciate the help. Thanks!
  5. Hi all, Brand new to reefing here; set up a new 50g aio tank about a month ago. Nothing in it but bottled bacteria/live sand/sterile rock. Based on all my research before I add fish or coral I want to seed the tank with some live rock to get the good stuff (more diverse bacteria, copapods, sponges, coralline algae). There are LFS that have dark cured live rock but I've been given advice that I'd have better luck from a high quality private tank. I'm looking to buy a piece or two of well aged dark cured live rock from a good quality, well established (~more than 2 years) tank, preferably one that has a good history with respect to pests. Only hard requirements are that the rock must have been stored in a completely dark area (no sun, no lights, no refugium lights) to prevent photosynthetic pests. Also would need to be less than ~3-4" in size to allow me to place it in the back sump area. Willing to pay whatever you think is fair within reason (~$6-$12 a lb). Let me know if you think you can help, maybe a pic of the tank as well, and thanks!
