The forum has been too slow - free frag pack giveaway

I’m game -
I have 3 clowns, 3 anemone, 1 scopis, 1 sailfin, 3 dams, 1 wrasse, 1 two stripe gobie, lawnmower blennie and 2 pajamas. 55 gal, running uv sterilization. 2 canister filter, protein skimmer, in tank refugium. Only Skeletor (the tang) has the spots. And they don’t quite look like coliflower but it is solid looking chunks of white
-
So, are the white spots from infection from aggression or something else?
-

Not sure what is going on from Google it looks like either inch or fin rot. Anyone know what it is and what I should do about it?
-
Come to find out, yes. I had that plastic square stuff for a lid but it still got out. I had thought the bubble tip had eaten him
-
What will happen if a 2 striped gobie pair looses its mate? Can another be introduced to it?
-
Nvm carpet is still behind bubble tip. On a sadder note looks like one of my goby pair might have been it’s lunch ;(
-
Will a bubble tip anemone eat a carpet anemone? Cause I think that’s what happened here. They were living side by side and now I can’t find the carpet and the bubble tip is HUGE..

Googling for Fish-ID, aka searching based on Images
psychofireman replied to obrien.david.j's topic in General Discussion
That is awsome, I never knew of that search. Now I can be a little less annoying -
Ty, they really are cool to watch suck up and then drop sand as they swim around
-
I got these pair of gobies and can’t remember what they are. I googled and see some like them but not close enough to say for sure. Anyone know what they are? I got them from woody’s seahorse and love them

Couple things that need to be cleared out.

My clown loves it and my carpet doesn’t seems to mind it either. My long Tip, not so much, thinks it is going to move-away tonight -
Thank you, that makes alot of sense now to me. Definitely will have to get one once I find a cheap sump
-
Ok a couple more different questions. If I got a sump( currently trying to find an affordable used one) Would I need to run a protein skimmer? I have read many things going both ways. I currently have a HOB p.s. and I don't have one that would work in a sump. Also, Do you need to do water changes when running a sump or just top offs? And what size sump pump would I need?
-
which clarisea would you recommend? I have a 55 gal. Also, what I dont understand on the automatic, how does it know to advance? is it like on a timer or what?
-
Not sure how they would do in my tank. Have only an inch of sand in the front 1/4 of tank. Behind rock is no sand. And not familiar with the starfishes

Want to re-home Picasso trigger
psychofireman replied to psychofireman's topic in Classified Threads
Not sure how to close this. Fish has been picked up -
I have a 55 gal mixed reef/fish/ live rock tank. What fish and invertebrates would y’all recommend for cleaning and visual stimulation? And how many. I currently have 1 blue chromis, 3 assorted damsels, 3 clowns, 1 Haitian, 1 long tip and 1 carpet anemone. Also in process of rehoming humu Picasso trigger.

I have a guy I work with that raises koi, maybe he might be interested. I can ask him tomorrow
-
I agree, I learned a lot and got many great deals
-
I don’t want to give home back where I bought him/her? Would anyone like this fish? I got him not realizing how much he would harass my cleanup crews and gobies. He is fine with my clowns and damsels. He is a lot of fun to watch. But I feel he needs more swimming area. Pm me if interested.

trying to get my alk down and cal up

What would be a daily dose amount? The bottle I have says add 5ml (10ml for my tank) 1xweek. Would a daily dose be in addition to that? -
My problems have been the 2 clear hoses popping off the black circler thingy. Then, causing a leak
