    I believe the cation and anion resins have to be separate to be able to recharge them. One with lye, the other with hydrochloric acid. But @pdxmonkeyboy can chime in of I have that wrong.

  2. Anyone have one they’d like to sell? My COR20 return just died. I pulled my saltwater mixing station pump to run the main tank, looking to get the same one to put back into the mixing station.

    I'm using a similar valve with a wifi leak detector and smart switch. Best practice is not to auto refill in the event of failure. When I receive alert I manually turn on solenoid via wifi app. 

    I thought about one on my rodi setup like that, any chance the valve wouldn’t close when power to it shuts off?

  5. Hey fellow Members and future Members its IslandVibes(Rick),

    The club has 2 par meters available for loan to paid members. You might want to check your Par levels for your corals. The normal ranges are:

    softies 20-50par

    LPS 150-200par 

    SPS 200-350par

    These are a general guideline and of course not all corals react the same.

    Please be kind and return undamaged within 1 week so others have the ability to check out the meters.

    *If for whatever reason it can't be returned in time, please reach out to whoevers in charge atm of this process and we will do our best to make things work*

    Ground rules to borrow a meter:

    • Must be a paid member of PNWMAS

    • Pay a $50 refundable deposit, given back upon return of the undamaged meter

    • Agree to fully reimburse the club if damage or loss occurs

      • Full cost of a new meter is $345 (+ $55 for the sensor wand if that is also lost/damaged)

    • Pickup and drop off at Cuttlefish and Corals (6363 SW Capitol Hwy, Portland, OR 97239)

    • Return the meter within 1 week

    Directions (In order):

    3. Once your name is called below, there will be additional instructions to take one of the following steps:

    • Pay the deposit and post that you have paid, if no response within 2 days, we will move on to the next in line.
      • Click HERE to pay the deposit, and post you've made the deposit.

      • Pick up the meter at Cuttlefish & Corals and post you’ve picked it up

      • Drop off the meter at Cuttlefish & Corals and post you’ve dropped it off which will then refund your deposit
