I battled Dino’s for almost a year and I think they are finally gone. The biggest thing that worked for me was removing the sand bed. I also let algae go crazy in my tank and started bring alk up a bit by putting kalkwasser in with my ato but, I would say the 3 methods combined is what finally killed them but sand bed removal showed the biggest improvement. If you decide to use kalkwasser don’t get sloppy with it like me... I accidentally pumped some of the sludge into tank and nuked most my sps and chalices Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Here's mine looks to be a tad over 3/4 inch tall and 2 branches with nice polyp extension when not mad from being handled. System is a 40b with reefbreeder photon v2 24in leds supplemented with 2 36" t5 add one running ati blue plus in both. Circulation includes rw-8 and wp-10. Sump is 15 gallons with roughly 10lbs of live rock, asm mini g skimmer and ecotech 650 return pump. So I've come to the realization my rock scape is not very coral friendly and I decided I'm going to do a re scape. I have a large piece I'm considering breaking into some smaller pieces but I'm concerned breaking it may release a bunch of phosphates, nitrates and other nasty crap into the water. I'm considering getting back in the led game and looking at either a reef breeders photon v2 or rapid led corona over my 40b. I've read the reef breeder photon 24 works well over a 40b but may need 2 coronas. Anyone on here have experience with either of these two? When these snow events happen I start thinking what I can add to the tank with the overtime that gets dished out.
