They will scavenge more than kill healthy inverts. They sense the weak or dying. ( or at least I tell myself that when I see the carnage) watch him and decide what you beleive his intentions are. Before he gets the ruge for being a scavenger and a healthy addition to the reef as a whole.
Yes. I would assume they would look "wild" or"fresh of the boat". Very little color. Deep water corals are some of the most fun. Because the all come in the same color. It's the acclimation to more intense light over time that brings out the awsome colors. "in my opinion"
Ummm. It may be best if we tell you after you find the brush you used. Let's just say brushing the rocks off inside the tank is not a good idea. But using anything copper in or around "live" rock and inverts. Is tragic. (scary)
Kole's Tang Ctenochaetus strigosus. They seem to keep busy cleaning it after a good brushing. Usually a welcomed addition and readily available. Along with a healthy invert population.
