Update on my Green BTA I was the lucky recipient of one half of a Green Bubble Tip Anenome, I placed it on a piece of rock in the sand with some super glue gel. I woke up Monday to find it had worked itself loose and crawled up onto the bigger rock, tentaclies extended with looking good. Tuesday morning, it was on the on move again so I moved it to some rock out of the current flow.. it seems to be doing fine..(scary)

I have 2 175watt PFO light setups, each setup comes with a PFO Ballast (Model AQI-175MH), Bulb (XM175/B) and mogul. Both units are in good working order and I was told the bulbs were 8 months old, (I have noticed one is brighter then the other). I am asking $65.00 for each setup or $120.00 for the pair.

October's Meeting I just wanted to thank Dave for opening his house and to Randy Reed for that great presentation, it was very informative. I have only been to a few meetings in the past but I am hoping to start attending more. Since I didn't win any of the raffle prizes I had to make a stop and visit one of our sponsors and make a purchase. I am looking forward to the next meeting.

I have a GEN-X PCX40 external pump, its running louder then it should so I tore into it to find out it has a bad bearing. DOH! I am looking for replacement parts without success, can anyone help me out or am I better off picking up a new pump?

What is the asking price for the PC pump?

I am starting to put together my 150 gallon tank and am looking for an extra overflow box..f(or a good price of course)..I have 1 that came with the tank but I am wanting to run dual overflows..one in each corner. If anyone has an they want to get rid of PM me.. I also have somethings I am looking to get rid of so maybe we can work out a trade.

Ok so I talked with the guys at PCI and the PS-300p is no longer something they carry... therefore I need to look into a replacement pump..they suggested something like the GX-2400 or similar. So I am looking at what would be a great pump prefebly with a needle wheel as a replacement..does anyone have any suggestions?

Your right that is a BTA behind the Frogspawn..and no the clowns don't host in the FS..if you look closely you can see and anenime behinf the Xenia's..The lightening is a Sunpod 70watt MH with moon lights. I'll let you know as soon as I get some zoa's to trade.. I am looking for some blue zoa's if you have any

Well after looking over all the member tanks in here I thought I'd share some pics of my 29 gallon BioCube with everyone (cheer)(cheer)

I actually found some info on the web on how to determine if your glass is tempered or not by using polarized sunglasses and the sun...so now I'll have to wait for the weather to cooperate and see if it works.

I just picked up a 150 gallon setup and I am thinking about drilling the tank and tossing the overflow box that came with it. I did some reading on several message boards and I am no closer to deciding then when I sat down to figure out how and where to drill the holes, what size and how many. The deminsions are 72"wx18"dx28"tall..(The tank is over 10 years old if that makes a difference).. What about adding overflows to the corners? if I do where would be a good place to pickup the black acrylic and does it come premolded? TIA

not sure.. It came with a tank I picked up..the pump is actaully burned up..I open the cover and the epoxy is actallu bubbled and burned, when I plus it it is pop the circuit breaker right away.

I have a Pacific Imports PS-300P skimmer and the pump is dead.. so I am lookng for a good replacement needle wheel pump..anyone have any experience or suggestions for a good replacement ?..TIA ~MaDd

Well the Maroon did settle into the anemone only to be confronted by the existing clown in the tank that had moved in.. so I am not sure how the eviction went..the Foxface is all settled in and doing great, loving the new surroundings and loving it.. same with the hawkfish.. thanks again and let me know if you need any help in Fiji...lol

Huskerduck, Thanks for the awesome deal on the corals..everything made it home and looks great in my nano..I love the way that Frog Spawn looks in my tank!!(cheer)..
