  5. Livestock is sold and gone... equipment list coming soon. Thank you!
  6. I've decided to take my tank in another direction. Tank is loaded with multiple hermits, snails, 2 pom poms, awesome pistol and yellow watchman pair, paired clowns, cleaner fish, 1 chromis.... Multiple types of zoas, two different types of Florida rics, green toadstool, two huge frogpawn, 1 huge duncan that keeps sprouting heads (started as two a year ago), a clump of clove polyps, and a few different varieties of mushrooms... Check out the album, pictures are terrible, much better in person. Take it and resell what you want! There are a couple apistasia on the rock, I'm going to treat them now, but I'll throw in a bottle of joe's juice. Asking $80. http://imgur.com/a/pEC5S Thanks for looking
  7. Bump... still available. BRS sells the media for $30. Will do trades.. looking for any or partial trades of these: reef mushrooms, cleaner shrimp, car detailing, 3 yards of 4 way dirt delivered, tree trimming.. I got a list! Let me know what you're good at.
  8. Also just to clarify, the tubing that got chewed is the poly stuff that BRS sells for .25 a foot, it works as is but looks a little funny. Just tested my SE water and I'm getting 3 in 0 out on the TDS meter.
  9. Still available... make me an offer. Only selling as I prefer to purchase my water. thanks! http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/brs-4-stage-value-plus-ro-di-system-75gpd-1.html
  10. Selling my Rodi unit. Purchased 8/2014. Needs new media and my puppy chewed some of the water lines but still has the old ones in it. Located in inner SE Portland, can text or email pictures. Thanks! $100
  11. Thanks everyone, I haven't heard about vinegar dosing but i will look into it. I cross posted on nano-reef and they are helping out a lot over there as well. I assumed that not hearing anything was good news, apparently not. I excluded on here that said friend was actually my boy-friend. He just moved out, apparently my animals stressed him out too much so now he's an ex.. what a day.
  12. It's a 20 gallon Im nuvo. Always test at the store and with this ice.. stuck here with no accurate params. Attached some pictures before and after (sorry about the potato quality). It was over a five week period, give and take a few days from my last maintenance. I was visibly upset when I saw it so he plunged his hands in the tank and started ripping out the algae before I stopped him. This actually looks better then when I first saw it! There was a very thick black algea (cyano?) on the bottom, you can kind of see it still in the third photo where he buried it a bit in the sand bed.
  13. So I went away for an extended time and trusted my friend to take care of it. He's had plenty of freshwater tanks and said he didn't mind so I felt confidant going away leaving some detailed instructions. Came home yesterday and cried after seeing my tank. Everything is covered in a thick black algae and hair algae. I lost some prized corals to the algae, the rest are not even visible it's so thick and I lost at least three fish.. some are still missing. My best guess is he didn't up keep up any maintenance at all or added bad water to it? Idk... I'm so upset I'm not sure what to do or if I can save it. Has anyone come back from something like this? The rocks were 50% covered in soft corals and zoas. His suggestion was to bleach the rocks.. eeps! I'm glad he didn't do this before I got back. Help!!
  14. The tank cracked all along the side while I was cleaning it. I still have it but I wouldn't necessarily trust it to hold water again. If someone wants it they can have it for free. All other parts are still available. Thanks!
  15. Still avaiable. Price drop to $50. Thanks!
  16. Was hoping to mod this to fit into my Nuvo 20 but it's not going to happen so I'm offering it up for sale. Works excellent and has great reviews. Asking $80 but would consider a trade for a nice clownfish pair or some koi for my pond. I'm located in inner SE Portland and can text pictures, just let me know. Thanks!
  17. Bump - Still available. Also will do a partial trade for live rock or inverts! Thanks~~!
  18. I've decided to hang on to the skimmer. Will sell the complete set up for $100 and throw in the stand (it's an ikea bekvam cart: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/30240348/).Thanks for the interest!
