  1. Picked up this system yesterday and found out the bottom of a side panel was chipped and taped over. Tank stand and hood only.  Great project for someone that builds or wants to practice building a glass tank.  Could tear it apart and flip the panel so the chip is on top.

I might be interested in your snails and the harlequin tusk if you end up parting out. Has your tusk been aggressive with clean up crew? I know every fish has a distinct personality, so if it's been relatively docile, I'd love to have it.

Maybe some bta's too depending on coloration, as well as the flower anemone.

Might be interested in your skimmer and dual reactor as well.

Otherwise, GLWS, hope you can find a single buyer instead of having to part out.

Unfortunately, the harlequin is pretty aggressive and wiped out most of my clean up crew.  Will try to take more pictures and come up with individual prices when I decide to part out.

  3. Have these tanks at my vape shop, but have to shut down due to the Washington county flavor ban. Unfortunately, I don’t have space at home for them. Asking $2000 for everything I have

  4. Looks like you have a lot of sediment in your water. Assuming they are standard sized filters, you can buy separate sediment prefilters. Based on your picture, the water should be flowing from right to left. So, the dirty filter is actually the first filter, not the last one.

Water source should be coming in from the right, into the sediment filter, then to the carbon filter, and then to the RO membrane, and back to the DI canister

  5. Sounds like the right pump is pushing a lot more water than the left one. Things to check:

Are they oriented exactly the same?  If the inlet is stuck against a wall it would cause limited flow. Also check to see if there’s something physically stuck in the inlet (algae, snail, etc)

As far as water level is concerned, adding water should technically only change the level in the rear chamber where the pumps are.  If the display area is getting too high, then your overflow can’t handle the flow rate of the pumps. Make sure your overflow “teeth” are completely clear/clean.  If they are, you’ll have to either find a way to restrict the pump flow (defeats the purpose of upgrading the flow), or cut out some of the “teeth” on the overflow.
