  1. Man, I'm hitting up the Rogue after the tour (I think, might hit it Saturday). I need to restock my supply. I will also be going over the night before and staying in a hotel (just don't feel like getting up at 7am to make it in time). But I'm down for just about anything.
  2. Checking back in.....for all you WOW addicts...I'm on Duskwood Lvl 70 NE hunter - Fenmere (what a shocker!) Lvl 66 human priest Officer in a new guild. Don't play anything else....and yes i'm an addict and will stay that way until something better comes along
  3. Hello, This will short and sweet..... I'M BACK music> It's been awhile, but I'm getting back into the hobby. Was great to see everyone at the meeting yesterday. I'm starting out again with a 24 Gal Aqua Pod (Thanks Travis!). Will post pics when something interesting happens...right now, it's water and rock (oohhh....ahhhh). (bored) So anyway, ttyl! Fen
  4. I"ve respec my hunter a few times...was on the fence between beastmaster and survivalist. have respec'd about 3 times and i'm finally happy. Just keep an eye on the cost. I think next time, i'm looking at something outragous
  5. Currently, I have a lvl 58 Night-ef Hunter and a lvl 17 human priest. Once the hunter is at 60, i'll start working on the priest. I also have a low lvl tauren shaman on the Cenarion Circle server. This is for when Duskwood goes down
  6. I'll warn ya now, i'm kind of attached to my guild. They're a bunch of great people. I've thought about making a Tauren shaman, but don't want to leave my guild and if I go horde, i can't talk to them =(
  7. I"m in WoW. Have two Alliance characters on the Duskwood server...Arilan and Fenmere (usually on Fenmere until I hit lvl 60). Look me up if you guys wanna play =)
  8. There was some contention on if one of the last board meetings should or should not be posted. Be careful with this. Everyone that is an officer or on the BOD will need to watch what how they behave. Also, before then, the minutes were posted, but it was in an officer's only forum (back on the old board). just my $.02 Ang
  9. Also, since we are not in the hobby, I will not be renewing our membership (again, doesn't make sense). This automatically makes me non-eligible for the VP position. I will be floating around tho =)

    Concerts

Just real quick, before going to bed. Nine Ince Nails is awesome! I went to the show tonight. As most people here know I love this band. I got seats 4th row, nearly center. We were so close, I could see Trent Reznor grinning on a couple of songs and see the whites of his eyes...Absolutely amazing! Ok, done for now (yahoo) (rock2) Ang
  12. We're hiring mortgage loan processors
  13. I've seen the same thing...Family on welfare with 6 kids. They had all the new toys and stuff. Things like new big TV, nice stereo, console games, dvd (before dvd was affordable really). The sad thing...they lived in a horrible run down house, didn't clean and their kids were running around in hand-me-downs and taking gifts of clothes from other peope.....messed up priorities!
  14. I wish I could go. I'll have a drink for you guys (drinking)
  15. I dunno about the whole debate...Really I think there should be a cap on how many kids you can have.....hence the population increase. I also beleive that if you cannot afford to raise the child you have (going on welfare because you are to lazy to get a job types), then you shouldn't be able to have them. This would be why Keith and I don't have kids. I know I can't financially be responsible for myself, Keith and a child. When that happens (or I think we can swing it) You might see a little Orriss running around. But I'm somewhat responsible....sometimes. Oh and this has to do with quality of life...I grew up with a single mom that didn't have a job for awhile. She didn't go on welfare while looking for a job, she was on unemployment. I can speak from experience, it's hard on the kid to go through this as well as the mom. I don't want to put my children through that and I don't want the stress. She is an amazing woman and I'm surprised we made it.
  16. This is great. Have to have your sound on
  17. I had a cat that would do that. She smacked around a litter of kittens to the point that when she was dying (liver disease) they would still avoid her. She was neat
  18. just my $.02 I think that the gas prices will not change and alternative fuel will be "half -assed" researched as long as the current leadership is in place. That's all I'm gonna say on the matter BTW I don't want to get into a political debate, this is just an opinion
  19. I really disliked Everquest. Can't figure out why. Maybe the engine wasn't my thing. I'm real impressed with this and it's very addictive. Also, added bonus, they give you 1 month free to try it out before doing the monthly thing.
  20. ARG! I'm going to be out of town! I have made my friends that I'm going with feel sufficently bad (she's a science geek herself). Totally not fair!
  21. The dress is the most important part...Finding the 'perfect one' (and, guys, there is a perfect dress for every woman) takes TIME. Then add on all the alterations, finding out it WAY more spendy then you thought...Fun times
  22. yeah world of warcraft is addicting. Since my last post...I;ve made lvl 37. Tells you what I do with my free time =P
  23. oh come on....it's a cute little crab
  24. No clue on the dirtbike...what about someone driving an old vw bug turned into a sand buggy up and down the street?
  25. Just had to share this......booboo This sign is for her "The executive director of the O.regon Liquor Control Commission resigned Thursday morning, five days after being arrested on a charge of drunken driving. Lonn Hoklin, spokesman for Democratic Gov. Ted Kulongoski, said Teresa L. Kaiser e-mailed her resignation to members of the OLCC board of directors Thursday morning. She was arrested Saturday night by Portland Police for driving under the influence near the Ross Island Bridge in Portland, said spokesman Detective Paul Dolbey. No word yet on what her blood-alcohol level was. "Due to circumstances that I deeply regret, I am resigning as executive director of the commission," Kaiser wrote in the e-mail. She said she will return on May 15th to tie up loose ends and say her good byes. "It's safe to say when you're in a highly visible position, and represent the state liquor laws and enforcement, this is to be expected," said OLCC spokesman Ken Palke of the resignation. He called "devastating to us who work here that something like this happened. It's a situation that happens all too often." Although Kaiser had a contract with the commission, she serves as the board's pleasure, Palke said. Kaiser assumed the post Sept. 15th, 2003, after several years with child support services in Maryland. She is a graduate of Portland's Lewis and Clark Law School and worked as an attorney for seven years as well as in liquor enforcement in Colorado and W.ashington. She was an OLCC inspector from 1981-1982. The OLCC board will hold an emergency meeting at 10 a.m. Friday to appoint an acting director. "The governor naturally is very concerned about this. But he has total confidence that the commission will handle this and do the right thing," Hoklin said. Statewide, liquor sales are on track to reach $722 million -- $77 million more than projected a year ago -- for the two-year period ending in June 2007, according to state estimates. During Kaiser's tenure at the liquor control agency, the OLCC began a two-year pilot program to allow sales of distilled spirits in separate liquor stores within supermarkets instead of in traditional state-run outlets. So far, the pilot program has brought in more revenue than expected, the agency has said. But the pilot program has upset some existing liquor agents, who say it will create unfair competition. When reached at her Portland home Wednesday night, Kaiser would not comment. " Ironic? Ang
