TAD
What is a few methods of cleaning the coraline off of powerheads? The plastic seems to bond pretty well with the stuff.
Michael7979
Try soaking them in a mix of vineager and water. Muric acid will work too.
TAD
Michael, 50/50 water to vinager? And where is the best price on the muric acid? Thank you sir.
Michael7979
You shouldn't need to go 50/50 start out with 25/75. Joel at Waves has some I think....... If not Home Depot/Lowes should too. Just put it in a spray bottle and you will use less or mix it in a bucket to soak them.
chewie
50/50 vinegar works pretty well but you have to let sit overnight. If I need fast cleaning I just use it straight. About 2 hours after soaking it will come right off.
