shaywood
I purchased a piece of Oregon Tort about 8 months ago (its still quite small). I think it may have red bug. I would like to do an Interceptor (Milbemycin) treatment. Does anyone know where I can get an extra pill for treatment?

impur
QT and a couple weekly dips in TMPCC will do the trick as well.
Michael7979
If you really want the Interceptor, begging a vet is about the only way I know you can get it, having a dog might help. Be honest with them when you ask about it. Wouldn't hurt asking the LFS if they have any. Some stores sold pills a while back.

Reefin'
I asked my vet before and told him what it was for...he said sure, but he'd have to order it.....like mike said honesty is the key with vets....goodluck
Lowman
Shawn, I would try to get one of the natural predators of the red bugs. I know melanarous wrasses and dragon faced pipe fish eat them. Interceptor will kill any ornamental crustaceans that you have in your tank. I would use it as a last resort.
JasonH
Petmeds.com will ship with no prescription...
Nyles
yup, petmeds, they say they require, but they don't, its fast and affordable, used it a few years back with great results. Be prepared to do it a few times not just once. Even if you don't see any more RB's they will be in there, I would dose and wait a week, dose, and wait two weeks, and do a final dose. Inverts can be sensetive, some showed some signs of being half drunk. so if your inverts are not big you may consider yanking them for a while.
