Montgomd Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 Looking for one 400 Watt Electronic MH Ballast. Let me know what you have and how much you want. Thanks Dean- Quote
CA2OR Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 What happened? Did one of your lights break or are you upgrading? Quote
CA2OR Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Blah blah blah blah Uh...ok Dean, did your lights go out? Do you need these PC's? Quote
Montgomd Posted January 27, 2009 Author Posted January 27, 2009 My lights are fine, I need a small ballast that can be mounted on or in a canopy for a newer set-up but still provide enough light for a 24" deep tank; So an electronic ballast seems to be that way to go. Quote
R-3 Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Here Dean. Probably the best deal you will find. http://www.premiumaquatics.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=PFO400BB-ELEC&Category_Code=Clearance Quote
R-3 Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Ohh I just noticed though that its 220 :( Unless you can make that work. I will keep my eyes open. Quote
Montgomd Posted January 28, 2009 Author Posted January 28, 2009 I don't know anything about wiring, maybe there is a converter? I defiantly do not have a 220 outlet near the tank. That is an awesome price though. Quote
Montgomd Posted January 29, 2009 Author Posted January 29, 2009 Still Looking for one, have cash if anyone has one. I may just buy a new one if I don't get any bites. Quote
spectra Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 Ohh I just noticed though that its 220 :( Unless you can make that work. I will keep my eyes open. Look at the pic is it just me or does the plug look like a normal one(scratch) I have not seen a plug like that for 220 before? Both the lge are straight up and down. I have seen them when one is sideways but then I do not even think they are 220:confused: Quote

I noticed that the picture on the 175watt 120v ballast at that site used the exact same photo...I think it is a stock picture they were using and not accurate. So close...wish I had 220 wires to the tank...what a deal. Quote
R-3 Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 Good call Scott. I would call them and see what they got Dean. It wouldn't hurt. Quote
MadReefer Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 Would this work for you? http://ballastwise.com/item.asp?PID=129&FID=17&level=1 Quote

Exodus Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 I have A Sunlight Supply 400Watt Single Ballast, looks new. I will give it up for only $100 Quote
Montgomd Posted February 2, 2009 Author Posted February 2, 2009 I bought a 400 watt electronic from BallastWise on Friday and I don't need another. I would rather have bought yours though, I wouldn't have to wire it! Thanks anyway Exodus! Dean Quote
