CA2OR
my guess is flat worms. But I believe it could be what Calvin has in his frag tank. You could ask him

CA2OR
his name is Kilmca hit him up. I just saw his frag tank and he had stuff that looked just like this. IF I recall correctly it was flatworms. You could try a fresh water dip.

Michael7979
Redbugs move around a lot and it can be seen by the human eye. They also have a dot on them that is even more red then the body. I have treated for them and that isn't them. Doubt they are flatworms...... if they have not moved. Might be a form of sponge since they are on the underside of the frag. Have you done a search for sponges to see if you can match them up?
Michael7979
Take a toothpick and poke at one and see what response you get.
downhill_biker
they aren't redbugs. they are VERY small and are light colored with a red pinhead speck on them. just guessing, but since those aren't moving, are different sizes depending on which hole they are in, and only in holes or pits, i would say that they are sponges. coralreefaquarist
thanks guys. ill try the toothpick. better safe than sorry thanks
MadReefer
I agree, not redbugs. If they brush off easy they could be flatworms. The tiny flatworms that I have seen stay in the light because they are photosynthetic.
Algae
Shawn: Kinda looks like flatworms to me. IMHO
impur
Not redbugs. Might be flatworms but if they don't move then i would say can't be. Probably sponges or some sort of algae.
callen
They look like flatworms to me too. Harmless little buggers but boy can they take over a tank. 6 line wrasse do a great job in clearing them up. Not sure if that is an option for your tank. fishmanmike01
If they are flatworms you should be able to suck them off with a syringe quite easily, if not probably a sponge of sorts.
mrgreenthumb
so what do you think these ended up being? do they move? if not I say sponges
