CA2OR
I know they do shark week, mostly to inform and promote awareness to sharks, their natural behavior, and their endangerment. Should they have a Coral Reef week? The benefits could range from discovery of new species, and better understanding, to possibly help protect and if possible enhance our remaining reefs. It is just a thought that I would like to run by you guys.
Michael7979
If there was a "Reefs Week" I would watch!!
snowpunk
If there was, they would for sure put it in HD and since I got rid of my HD it would be airing any day so I wouldn't be able to see it(flame). I'm not bitter about not having my HD at all(laugh) I think it would be nice.
CA2OR
i have to say though it would be pretty astounding to see it in HD. I saw the Planet Earth Shallow Seas episode and found myself relatively dissapointed in how little time they spent on reefs. Still an aswesome show though. CA2OR
Just curious what the reason is for the no votes. Not trying to be argumentative, just curious.
andy
I voted No to offset the sockpuppet Moderator3 vote
R-3
I like the idea of the Reef week but it wouldn't do well. Shark week does well because of Jaws and the fact that most of America is deathly afraid of sharks. Being afraid of them and the fact they eat people helps out to. Lowman
I'm a non conformist to the letter and voted no also
SamatSLS
No... Shark week is cool because sharks are exciting. Reefs are tranquil. It would put people to sleep, including me.
andy
What if they had a week of sharks eating coral reefs?
Michael7979
I think they could do something cool with showing the differences between reefs. Maybe not quite a whole week but atleast a 3-4 hour mini-series!
SamatSLS
I have a major conflict. The Blazers game might not be over before 24 tonight. My life is falling apart.

SamatSLS
Isn't Tivo that guy on [language filter]? How can he help me? I'm so off today. I can even set this up remotely now and I didn't think to do it. Ok, my life is back on track. Brandon Roy and Jack Bauer in the same night?!? This is too much. Michael7979
Unless the game is on national TV...... I don't need to worry about it! (no Comcast here)

R-3
I switched to Verizon Fios the day they picked up CSN-NW' date=' and I'm never looking back.. Are you satelite only?[/quote'] Hey Sam does that Fios work through cable or a satellite? I gotta look into that. Mike I think the game is on Comcast. You wanna know the funny thing is that Directtv has all the Comcast Sports Net channels except the NW :( Hey I can send you a link Sam of a guy who streams Blazer games Thats how I watch most of them. SamatSLS
What??? Yeah, send me that. That would be nice when I'm on the road. Fios is through cable, they're laying there own cable down all over the place around the Portland Metro area. It's a really cool deal actually. I've been happy with it. With Comcast though, on mojo (788) I was getting HD. Home games that is.. Some roadies were in HD, but they weren't 16.9 or really all that HD actually. Apparently Fios is going to do the same in short time, but I'm still waiting..
