JManrow
If you have a glass tank that needs drilling, you might want to bring it with you!

JManrow
Is there anyway we can incorperate acrylic cutting as well? If someone wants to volunteer the time, tools, and materials, it's fine with me.:p
CA2OR
That was kinda the point for me, i don't know how or what tools I would need. What I do know is silicone doesn't hold acrylic like it does glass.
defigart
Cool! Could you bring a couple of them to the meeting? Nope, I was just teasing. (whistle) Of course. Not sure what I have laying around. But will look and see what I can scare up. I think a member or two has a "jig" for 10 gallon tanks. If so hopefully they will read this and bring it if they weren't planning on it already. CA2OR
I know this is gonna be a dumb question...but what is a jig?
defigart
Its something you use to put your saw or drill in the correct place and make the correct pattern. Its also a funny little dance, but I meant the first one.

SamatSLS
CA2000postsOR : If you have a power drill, you just need a hole saw. Bring your bulkhead to home depot and ask someone to help you get the right sized hole saw. Then you can cut away. There's nothing too it.... Just be completely sure where you want to make your holes before you start.
snowpunk
Hey, I need a hole cut in a glass tank. It's a 48 corner so I could bring it for drilling/learning... 1.75" is what you need for a 1" bulkhead right? That way I can learn and save some money(clap):p(clap) This will actually be the first meeting I can make since I am not working...

CA2OR
oh I see....someone gets involved and I get slammed for it? I am kidding. I get on this site from work so I have nothing but time to go through posts and respond. I am really here for the learning and resources but it doesn't hurt to interact.
