Jay
Hello again: I just ordered a new duel stage resin chamber with the tds meter built in for my ro unit as a add on. I am running new plastic hose to a room with my 55 gallon drum and am gonna use it for makeup water. The question I have is do I need to keep this new water circulating with a pump between water changes? I will be useing the airtight top for the food grade drum I have. How long does the water stay fresh for? I want to make up 55 gallons at a time and do 3 small water changes durring the month this way my trace elements stay pretty consistant and the tank water will stay pretty nice and clean. Thanks Jay
impur
I think you are going to need some movement in there to avoid it going bad or things growing on the walls. You could drill a small hole in the side near the top and feed the cord thru that. Use some sort of gromet to make it water tight.
spectra
You will need a pump of some sort. I am looking into making a system for my garage to store water in for wc. Everything I have seen or read about has a pump or something to keep the water moving. I know when I just do 5 gallons and let it sit for a few days with no pump things start to growDOH!
