1.024-1.026 is what i keep mine at. this range is kept fairly close, and checked weekly. i dont change it very fast, but through skimming it will drop over the course of a week.

If your salinity has fallen, how fast would you raise it. Mine is at 1.022.

i would say your safe to raise .001 per day, thats what i have done or vice versa and have never had any negative effects.

In general .01 per day is a good number to raise it by. I have raised it as uch as .04 in the past and have had now issues at all.

whats the easiest wat to raise the salinity? mine went down to 1.019 due to a ATO mishap. my clam bleached a little bitand my xenia melted away.... not tooo sad about the xenia tho lol! any suggestions?

I added a small cup of salt to my sump and it raised it .001. My system has 130 gal less rock and sand.

I mix a cup or two until saturated then add it to the sump

I would make up a bucket of salt that is higher then the tanks SG. Then add that to the sump/tank. If it it needs to be done more then once to reach desired SG, do WC's with the higher mix. Just take your time as not to stress the system.
