Michael7979
Has anyone seen the new bigger Koralia pumps at any of our LFS's? They now make a 5, 6, 7, and 8 models and was wondering if they were on the market yet. And if so the price of these new ones.
WAVES
The big one wholesales for $1800 from one of my sources. Needless to say I dont think you will be seeing much of them. ** correction, it appears they are like $200 online, so my sales rep must be mental. Michael7979
Maybe he meant $180. Do you know when they will be out?

Wow I read the first part and though Jordan had left his bong out for ya Joel :) Those Koralias look pretty cool but I have yet to talk to anyone that has used the bigger ones. coralreefaquarist
what size tank would you use 3250 gph:eek:
R-3
I was thinking about a couple of the 3250GPH. Most of the Tunze streams people run are way bigger than that. Later Ryan

SamatSLS
I saw the 8's in action, they are massive. They look like a submarine. If you're into that, I have a little battery powered scuba diver you might like as well.

Were they bigger then that Sam?
SamatSLS
Yeah, I could see that, but they mount differently. The original Tunze's streams and Seios can be butted up against the glass, so they don't look as big. It's a matter of opinion for sure. These pumps project outward like a football shape, submarine, whatever, and they are a lot bigger than the Koralia 4's. To me, I wouldn't want much bigger than a K4 projecting into my tank. SamatSLS
I put Scuba Steve in my refugium to punish a damsel that rampaged my tank for a while. I'm sick in the head. I have problem. Ok, I don't actually have a battery powered scuba diver. I want one though.

pledosophy
What are you doing with a little battery powered scuba diver sam? Bath time getting boring? Joel, Homie. My buddy ol Pal. Becareful what you ask my man. What if Sam came back with insightful info and pictures. (laugh) I saw the 6,7,and 8's at Reef a Palooza, they were kinda cool. Very similiar to the Tunze's IMO, but I admiteddly don't know much about the larger powerheads having a 65g tank. I was impressed at there performance.
