Lowman
Hey folks, I'm coming into some money in the near future and am thinking about buying the PFO Solaris for my cube. I wanted to know if anyone on here has seen any good tanks that use this system, and what your thoughts are on buying one of these. Thanks for the input

downhill_biker
yeah, jason has the scoop. i have heard nothing but troubles. give them a couple years and they may be great, but for now they are just a waste of money. a lot of money. spectra
Yeah run away from them and stick with a MH(rock2) For the money they want and the problems I have read about them I would just stay away.
R-3
I would look elsewhere Bob. Even if they worked how they are suppose to I couldnt imagine shelling out that much for a LED light. Later Ryan
Lowman
Looks like I'll be going with a Galaxy ballast from Sunlight and the Phoenix 14k bulb. 250 watt. Thanks for the input
andy
You might consider the Blue Wave if you know you're going with an HQI/DE bulb (the Phoenix 14K is a DE bulb, isn't it?). Supposedly, HQI magnetic ballasts drive those bulbs better.
