markdadof2
I have a smaller (appx 2") crocea clam and he has been doing great - mantle extension looks good no gapping etc. I know my water parameters are all in line as I had Waves double check everthing last weekend and it was all inline (my Mg was a bit low but I have since corrected this). Today I noticed my clam had moved and was open looking great...but it looks like he left a bit of his foot behind on the rock. I did turn him over and he does have what looks like a foot. So what is the deal? is this normal? Should I be worried? Thanks!
mrgreenthumb
totally noraml nothing to be worried about!! They like to move sometimes if they are not happy in their present location, and when they move they usually leave some of their "foot" behind. Nothiing to even stress over!
