Wel it has been a couple of weeks since I gave an update so..........

Things are good. Everyone has handled the move well and seems to be doing really good! Increased my coral count by a few with some trades in the last week or so. They too are all doing good!

Getting the diatom algae now so I have stepped into 'new tank syndrome'! (hehe)

And I'm really kinda suprised at how much evaporation I am getting. Even with the cooler weather I am having to add 3-4 gallons of top-off a day! I just didn't think it would be that much yet. I figured 2-3 tops!!

Now I'm wondering how much I'll have in the warmer summer months! Might have to hire someone to add 10 gallons a day while I work OT to pay for it!!

(laugh)(laugh)(laugh) (laugh)(laugh)(laugh)

Looking really good Mike. I like the rock work...are you going to keep it to a minimum? I am glad things "moved" over ok. I am a bit apprehensive about my move. How did you plan it out? Corals first, fish last?

Let me know.

Kris

Thanks for the comments!

Yeah I plan on leaving the rock as is... (for plenty of swim room),unless something is purchased already on rock.

I moved one 'tougher' coral first and let it set for a day or two to make sure it was OK.

Then moved all corals and inverts...... using drip acclimation.

And finally the fish were last....... using drip acclimation also.

WOW!!! I had not realized it has been so long since I updated some of the going ons.

So............

I 'adopted' Siskious LARGE rabbitfish that she reluctantly needed to let go. He is going just fine and eats like a teenage boy!

I added a Korilia 4 powerhead, and I really like it! Quiet, powerful, and energy efficent!!! Looking to add more and replace others as I get them,

Ryan (R3) was kind enough to give me an efflo frag for my birthday. Thanks again Ryan! But I haven't added anything else lately.

Just been working on a new canopy for my lights.

Other then that just trying to keep up.......

OK so here is the new update.....

1- got my other ballast and got it hooked up.

2- finished my "canopy". If you can call it that. It holds the lights........ that's it.

3- moved some corals around, I like it better now.

4- charging batteries for camera

5- plan on taking pics tomorrow

6- got a new LMB to replace the one that past. And it eats flake food too.

Everyone looks good and seems to be happy and healthy. Hoping to post pictures sometime in the evening, if all goes right.
