fish for nano

Ok, so after two years of running my 24g nano im ready to add one fish. What do you guys suggest? I dont want it to exceed 3" in size, it shouldnt be a jumper (tank is open top) Needs to be reef safe... and hopefully not a micro-invert eater. That rules out wrasses. I was thinking along the lines of a cardinal fish or goby of some type????(scratch)

That would be an option, do you know if they like to host in LPS corals? I wouldnt want one to try and be friendly with my acans.

Anyone have any experience with blue or yellow assessors? They look like a good nano fish

I have seen them host in open brains (nutty) , but cant say about acans.

black cap basslet, Helfrichi Firefish, zebra stripe catalina goby. They all get my vote!!

^Helfrichi Firefish^(rock2) Sweet looking fish for a nano. Or if I was to do it again maybe a Yasha Hasha goby and a pistol would be cool. Do you have sand in there? My sons has a Shrimp goby and a pistol and they are fun to watch.

But I have to agree that a Yasha Goby and shrimp combo was my favorite in my old nano.

I have about 2" sand layer the yasha goby and shrimp sound cool, ill go research that, thanks guys
