wannabereefer
Just wondering if I should use the regular aragonite or go with the Caribsea ARM meida. I also need to buy this locally. Thanks for your help.
Nyles
Using regular media typically will bring on more dissolved phosphates, it really depends on media, if you want to try throw in what your thinking of using run it and test your phos. I use the ARM Media, there is plenty of great brands, I use ARM because its a small reactor and I get more weight in with finer stuff, you just need to make sure you don't get PH to low as media will dissolve, and ARM plugs easy if your not careful (I just use a controller and that problem is resolved)
WAVES
I love Korallith media. I use it here and LOVE IT. I have tried ARM, the Pacific Coast Imports big chunks, as well as just crushed coral. I get far steadier readings with Korallith. I carry all of the above.
Smann
I used aragonite sand first few years it disolves fast, but you will have to dump the chamber about every six months as the fine particles collect at the bottom and clog the chamber. I switched to Caribsea ARM the first of this year and it seems to work well
