180g Reef Tank (Many Extras) - $1,400

Display:  Aqueon 5/8” Starphire glass 180g – Dual Return – 72”L x 24”W x 24”H

Protein Skimmer:  Simplicity D320 w/DC pump

Lighting:  2x400w MH, 2x48" T5 HO(ATI Blue+ & purple) – Mounted in suspended wood frame. (Have NIB replacement bulbs for all of these.)

Sump:  20g Del Rey sump w/rock (Includes lid)

Refugium: 15g Amiracle Refugium

Reactors: Bulk Reef Supply GAC and GFO

Return pump: Pan World 50-PX-X.

Substrate: Approx. 200-300lbs crushed coral sand

Additional: This is a complete setup.  You’ll just need a couple power strips, depending on how you decide to plumb it.  I have a bunch of additional gear that goes with the tank.

Here are a few of the extra items included:

-       Two UV Sterilizers: Aqua 15w works great (Think I might have a new bulb.), but the second needs new wiring.

-       Two Finnex 300w titanium heaters (NIB) controlled by a Bayite Temp Controller.

-       Commercial Bean Animal overflow mechanism (I don’t recall the brand name, but they work incredibly well, and quiet.)

-       Overflow unit for protein skimmer (Comes in handy when you’re gone for a week or two.)

-       Sea Swirl Rotating Return Device

-       Custom black Loc-Line return plumbing to distribute water flow across the entire tank.

-       Multiple return filter socks.

-       Various pumps and typical glass tube heaters.

-       Screen tank lid w/frame. (This is new – Never got around to installing it.)

-       Oak 3-door stand – Can be used as is, but it really needs to be refinished.

-       Chemicals – Reef Builder (NIB), Pro-Buffer (NIB), Reef Calcium (NIB), GFO, Carbon, de-Nitrate, Kalkwasser Powder (3lbs), and concentrated Iodine.

-       Instant Ocean Reef Crystals (enough for a few water changes.)

-       An older Eshopps protein skimmer (reservoir cover has a small piece missing, but it works).

-       Plus a ton of other stuff that’s too much to break out here.

I took the tank down about two years ago because my wife was too ill to help with maintenance and I had too many other things on my plate.  We bought the tank new in 2016 and had it set up till late 2021.  It’s in great shape – just needs to be cleaned and set up (Pic of new/empty tank below was when we replaced our previous 180g - It needs to be cleaned now).

I’m looking at selling the whole setup as a system and not parting it out.  I think the value is pretty good at $1,400 for everything.  As you already know, we’ve all spent many times that on our tanks….

Let me know if you have any questions about this or need additional information.  I included a few pictures so you’d have an idea of what it looks like.  Thanks for looking!
