Saltfishlover
Has anyone been able to keep these or the octospawn walls longterm? Is there a secret to it, or a particular type that is easier? So far I'm only about 6 months before they start to die.
Kerbash
Sorry never kept them b4, but what happen when they start to die? Like do they retract? or peel off? brown jelly?
Saltfishlover
Retract and brown jelly both. Seems to be random locations. Sometimes at the ends, sometimes in middle.
badguitarist
Look up “KFC Euphyllia dip” it’s a game changer for keeping euphyllia. Antibacterial dip that works against brown jelly, pinched polyps, tissue recession etc.. it solves a lot of the issues that come with imported Euphyllia. Do you have good experiences with wall hammers?
Lifer
I've only ever had one wall hammer. I've had it for well over a year, and it's doing great and growing well. It's purple-ish with pink tips in the bottom center of the photo. Moderate light at the bottom of the tank, and moderate flow. It's partially shaded from above but doesn't seem to mind.
