Eatfrenchfries
A bane in reef tanks but a wonderful addition to a macro display. Especially from the top down. This variety has nice forked leaves with brilliant iridescence. Brown macroalgae that loves light + flow. Grows well in 6500k but absolutely takes off under actinic. Personally enjoy it in the daylight spectrum to be able to enjoy the iridescence from each individual cell. As always, it's available. obrien.david.j
I had this algae take over my display tank years ago. Requested some wisdom from the internet (okay, Usenet for those who know what that was) - and bingo. A new unicorn tang made short work of it. The flip side, this algae is beautiful! I just wasn't happy when it was over growing the corals. Otherwise, I would love to grow it.
