obrien.david.j
Great Video. I assume the max safe volume of H2O2 (34%) to apply depends on volume of total system. One syringe full has a different effect in a 5 gallon pico tank, than a 500 gallon setup.
pdxmonkeyboy
Well, yeah. I am sitting around 750 gallons total so I could put a l9t of h2o2 in the tank with absolutely no worry. People have been dosing h2o2 for awhile in marine tanks, at reasonable levels it doesnt hurt anything. What those levels are...I dunno, because honestly, I am below them and that is all I need to know
Bicyclebill
where do I find 34% H2O2? My rite aid stuff is 3%. And I'm having that same problem in the last two months.

pdxmonkeyboy
Your local weed growing store will have it. It comes in a clear bottle because they are too stupid to realize that sunlight degrades it.. but I digress, it is only $30 instead of lab grade that is around $70 after haz shipping fees. cjmdh
Used 34% H2O2 as a reagent in some water chemistry tests in the Navy. A guy cut his finger and asked if he could use it. I said "yeah sure but...." Screams of pain coming from the other guy. "you need to dilute it first!" Bicyclebill
Well I tried this, and the aptasia looked like they fully melted away. Stinky in the room for a day to boot. But two weeks later, they are all back fully.
