Attending MACNA Sept 9-11, 2022 in Milwaukee

Got our travel details all booked.   Anyone else attending MACNA this year?

BTW - It looked easier to fly into Chicago (ORD) and drive the 1hr+ up to Milwaukee, rather than fly there itself.   No direct flights to MKE, but found good direct flights PDX->ORD.

Easy and O hare should never be in the same sentence. Not going but have always had a blast. Take lots of pictures!

Most definitely easier to fly to ORD and drive up from there. Otherwise, seemed like they wanted to connect through Munich.

Or Tampa.

I generally don't bring much livestock back, but my favorite is kind of a lavender stick from Macna 2017/New Orleans. 

I got lucky.  Grew great in my tank for years.   Gave Holly a clipping as a gift.  And when I upgraded my tank in 2020, I lost all of the original colonies.   Got a clipping back from Holly, and it's still going great!

I could get there through Minneapolis, but times were Ugly.  To do it, really wanted me to stay and extra night and fly out on Monday. Didn't want to do that.  ORD direct is a much better route.

I am going. My ticket was a miles ticket, so I am traveling all day. I fly to San Fran (SFO), then to Chicago (ORD) and then to Milwaukee. Should be an adventure!

Been there, couldn't afford the all day this time.  I've got a cousin in Milwaukee, so sneaking in a dinner with them Thurs eve, and trying to still get out Sunday night after the raffle.  Need to work on Monday!

I'm flying into ORD 7am direct flight from PDX Thursday morning, and then renting a car - driving up.   If you're on the same flight, I can give you a ride.   I didn't investigate any other options.

Interesting prototype product.  SeaTak, an replacement for underwater epoxy.  Starts Tacky right away and cures in something like 30 minutes.  I need some of this the moment it comes out.  No more superglue/epoxy sandwiches.

I saw a YouTube video about SeaTak today. It looks like it will be handy for attaching corals to rocks or rocks to each other, under water. They said it should be availoable in 6 to 8 weeks.
