TheClark
Reaching out to this smart community for ideas on this whacky concept Goal: Gather ideas on some kind of outdoor pond that can also be used for testing fishing lures at home. Background: My daughter has some pet small mouth bass, currently in stock tanks. I would like to get them into a pond. We also love testing out fishing lures at home, much easier than loading up the boat and launching. Helpful Characteristics: - An acrylic viewing panel on one side to see into the pond for fish and lures - A deck on one side at least, to walk on while testing lures (simulate motion) Any thoughts / ideas are welcome, just brainstorming!

Trigg
I had something like this on a 12k gallon pond. The mail issue is you gotta make a bulk head type fitting out of the acrylic so it would seal to the pond liner. Make it 3’ deep to avoid predators, pm me if you want any help on my ideas. I’ve built 2 ponds, they are a lot of work to build but are really low maintenance and fun.
