shaywood
I'm curious for others who have a Booster Pump what is your psi when running and at idle. I noticed today while refilling my ATO that the pressure running was 35-40. During idle it is 50. I'm trying to determine whether the pressure gauge is bad or the pump. I replaced the filters and cleaned the pump diaphragm, but no change. The pressure seems fine coming out and the ATO filled in two hours like normal. The pump is turning off and on like normal. I recall the psi being around 80, but don't remember if that should be at running or idle. Edited January 27, 2022 by shaywood
Bevo5
I’m no expert but my pressure goes from about 60 to around 100 when the pump comes on. I also close off my waste line a bit more to keep the pressure up. Everything I read is that rodi loves pressure to run smoothly so I try to keep it jacked up. obrien.david.j
My RO was running this morning, so I can give you that reading. I'll look again in a few hrs for it's resting value. RO Running Pressure: ~90-95psi
obrien.david.j
Resting Pressure: 0psi - Whoops. This is a function of the fully automated SpectraPure RO unit I have. It has it's own input solenoid, shutting off raw water supply completely. (obviously, ahead of the pressure gauge)

Jeff.Tichenor
You should be able to adjust the pump pressure with the adjustment screw on top of the pump.
Jeff.Tichenor
Also be sure your membrain flush valve isn't open. Edited January 29, 2022 by jtichenor
shaywood
Replaced the pressure gauge and it's now reading 80psi at idle. Not sure about when it's running yet. I learned one thing - I bought a super cheap replacement gauge that has no glycerin oil, which means the gauge is useless when running because the dial jumps all around. AquaKey
@shaywood idle as in pump is off and just tap water pressure? I'm getting ~75psi without the pump and boost it to 85psi.
shaywood
Correct 80'ish with pump off. Not sure about on yet. Will know tomorrow.
AquaKey
That sounds about right, my filter needs to be replaced, so we're in the same ballpark. Bought mine used so once I change the filter, may not need the pump.
