pdxmonkeyboy
My calcium has been rising steadly over the last couple days. Even though I have only been adding alk to get my calcium down. Oh, and I dumped a whole jug of magnesium powder into the system because I added a bunch and didn't see any real change. So of course I am like... maybe the reagent is almost empty..Can't be, I just replaced and calibrated them... .. maybe I need to clean the sample vial.... maybe I should open a ticket with neptune. So I am at work staring at my fusion dashboard and it dawns on me. you know what, I bet I installed the vials in the wrong positions!! So the downside is, you figure out what is probably going on.... and you can't do anything about it until you get home from work. Thanks Obama! Micah
I have other gripes, but yeah... That'll do it! Also, pull out that cuvette and clean it with some q-tips and a 50/50 ethyl alcohol and water mix. Changed my life.
pdxmonkeyboy
Changed your life for the better? I would love to blame a dirty cuvette for most of my problems. Edited July 27, 2021 by pdxmonkeyboy
Micah
It changed my life for the better, yeah. I still don't trust the thing. It's boned me more than a couple times which to me means it's not worth the cost. I'd rather use a Hanna nitrate tester. Yeah.... It's... THAT bad.
