jellyfish
I've got a rimless bowfront tank, and don't want to risk any carpet surfers. I also have 2 cats, one of which has already learned rhe hard way that there is water in the fish tank 🙄 I'm seriously struggling to find anywhwere that makes custom lids for bowfront tanks though! does anyone know how or where i can get one?
GOBY
I bent the window screen frame material and made two sections for mine but mine was a glass bowfront with a frame at the top and the cats jumping up there sitting on it would also be a worry.... maybe post a pic? not the cat but the tank top. pdxmonkeyboy
I would suggest polcarbonate greenhouse sheeting and clips to hold it in place.
GOBY
You can also put this material to replace the typical screen material its clear and open enough t let your light through works great as a tank top that is removable and light still looking good. https://www.amazon.com/Clear-Mesh-Netting/dp/B00OABXY9O/ref=asc_df_B00OABXY9O/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=198102114124&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=9893632478031169201&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9032849&hvtargid=pla-351013397948&psc=
